Technical Excellence & Engineering Authority
1. High-Conductivity Conductor Engineering
Efficient high-power charging (up to 350kW+) requires minimizing electrical resistance at the point of contact. Our NACS inlets utilize silver-plated copper alloy terminals. Silver plating ensures the highest possible conductivity and prevents the oxidation that leads to thermal runaway in high-amperage scenarios. At a continuous 350A load, these contacts maintain a low temperature rise (typically <50K), preserving the integrity of the high-voltage cable assembly.
2. Integrated Thermal Intelligence
To ensure maximum Trustworthiness, the 200A-350A variants are equipped with dual temperature sensors (NTC or PT1000) embedded directly into the DC+ and DC- terminals. This allows the vehicle’s Battery Management System (BMS) to perform Active Thermal Throttling, gracefully reducing current before critical levels are reached, thereby protecting the vehicle and the charging station.
3. Ruggedized Environmental Protection
Designed for the harshest North American climates, the inlet features a high-strength thermoplastic (UL94V-0) housing. When unmated, the socket meets IP67 standards for dust and water resistance. Once mated with a charging connector, it provides IP44 protection, ensuring safe operation during rain or snow across a temperature range of -40°C to +50°C.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Can this 350A inlet handle 800V ultra-fast charging?
A: Yes. Our NACS inlet is rated for 1000V DC, making it fully compatible with 800V architectures and high-power dispensers capable of delivering 350kW or more.
Q: Does the inlet come with the required wiring harness?
A: We offer both Busbar and Crimp versions. The 200A model typically utilizes 50mm² cable, while the 350A model is optimized for 95mm² shielded high-voltage cables to manage thermal loads effectively.
Q: Why is temperature monitoring essential for the 250A and 350A models?
A: At high currents, even minor contact resistance can generate significant heat (I²R loss). Real-time monitoring allows the vehicle to safely maximize the charging speed while ensuring the connector interface stays below the critical 105℃ limit.
